Victoria
Youth Centre, Wrexham
Anne
was commissioned by Wrexham Arts Council to design and make a
series of glass panels for the foyer at the Victoria Youth Centre,
Wrexham. Anne's design focused
on the activities of the centre such as drama, dance, music, art,
etc. The images were made in brightly coloured kiln-formed glass
with a sandblasted background that linked the whole series of
panels into one flowing image.
Anne's
work was completed and installed in March 2007.
The Ship Hotel, Aberdaron
The
Ship Hotel, Aberdaron untook a refurbishment of their lounge bar
and dining room this winter and as part of the transformation
commissioned Anne to design and make some fused and stained glass
panels.
The
two series of panels
that Anne designed depict the Gwylan Islands
and Bardsey Island. The panels also incorporate fused glass detail
such as watery bubbles and shoals of fish that capture the quality
and life of the water in Aberdaron Bay and Bardsey Sound.
The
refurbishment was
completed with Anne's glass in March 2007.
